In morning trade, Indian rupee edged higher against the greenback. At 09.19 am, rupee was upbeat 0.07% against USD to Rs 46.17 compared to it’s earlier close at 46.25.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index plunged 0.009% to 80.93. It touched a high of 80.92 and a low of 80.97 after opening at 80.88. (23:55 ET)
Euro - USD was trading at 1.31, downhill 0.0009% whereas USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 86.40, downhill 0.0948%. (23:54 ET).
