On Tuesday, Oil prices floated under USD 87 a barrel in Asia, retreating from a sky-scraping for the year as regional stock markets chop down.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Benchmark oil for December delivery was downhill 21 cents at USD 86.85 a barrel at late afternoon Bangkok time in electronic trading.
Heating oil was little changed at USD 2.40 a gallon and gasoline was steady at USD 2.18 a gallon, in other Nymex trading in December contracts. Natural gas gained 8 cents to USD 4.17 per 1,000 cubic feet.
On the ICE Futures exchange, In London, Brent crude fell 30 cents to USD 88.16 a barrel.
