Cardamom futures trade top in trend

Cardamom prices witnessed upward trend in the future market today influenced by
strong demand in the spot markets in view of the marriage season. Tight arrival
from producing region also supported the prices.
Today, at the MCX, Cardamom May agreement goes up by 1.17pct, at Rs 732 a kg. It
opened at Rs 729 a kg as against its earlier closing at Rs 723.50 a kg
at12.46p.m. The open interest of the same was 166. |

Cardamom June agreement was trading up 1.31pct, at Rs 716 a kg as compared to
its earlier close of Rs 706.75. It tossed in the range of Rs 717-711 after
opening at Rs 712 a kg. Cardamom July contract was up 1.54pct, at Rs 708 a kg as
compared to its previous close at Rs 697.25 a kg while, it opened at Rs 708 a
kg. |
