Sugar futures trade weak

Sugar futures witnessed profit booking after the government imposed turnover limit of 30 days from the date of receipt of stocks by a recognized dealer.

At the NCDEX, Sugar March agreement is trading lower by 1.76pct at Rs 2,012 per quintal (2.15 p.m., Friday). It opened at Rs 2,032 as beside its earlier close of Rs 2,048.
The most actively trading, April contract is trading down by 1.29pct at Rs 2,072 per quintal after opening at Rs 2,086 in morning session.
Also, sugar May agreement is also trading downward by 1.10pct at Rs 2,150 as compared to its previous close of Rs 2,174 per quintal.
